aSpecial Media’s rich repository of Interest Profiles presents another opportunity for advertisers: Re-targeting.
A prospective customer may have begun to indicate a desire for a product or service by visiting pages referring to it. Or he may have even partially completed a purchase but terminated his session before checking out his online shopping cart.
aSpecial Media can re-serve your advertisement to him while his "weighted" interest in your product or service remains high the next time he goes online and give him another opportunity to make a purchase.
For instance:
1. A User clicks on an ad. This takes him to an ecommerce site, where he selects various products but does not check out his shopping cart. Our Re-targeting Solution will spot him the next time he visits the site and either serve him an ad for the same product using a different creative, or send him a message asking him if he wants to complete his check out from the ecommerce site.
2. A User visits a site, clicks on an ad served to him based on his Interest Profile and the context of the page viewed, and then leaves to visit another site belonging to another of our partner publishers. When he lands on a page of this separate website, the ads there will be rotated to suit his Interest Profile rather than the context of the content.
